第160期“百年求索 名师讲坛“活动迎来了我们的老朋友，来自加拿大University of Toronto Scarborough大学的William A.Gough教授，为华师城环院的师生带来了一堂精彩纷呈的学术报告。

William A.Gough教授先从宏观角度，表示全球变暖可能存在减轻的表征现象，并鼓励实行操作性高的效益最大化举措（exploit beneficial opportunities）。强调重点关注social well being，其中包括农业，运输业，以及旅游业等等。继而从天气温度变化趋势的角度对于多伦多市3个自然类旅游景点旅游人次量的作用影响，例如当气温最值处于上升时期（Tmax,Tmin），在Peak period，旅游人数会呈现下降态势；在Shoulder period，旅游人数会大大增加；而到了Off period，旅游人数则出现有限增长。

台下的同学们聚精会神的听讲座并认真的做着笔记，最后讲座在热烈的讨论中结束。
